Tapioca Starch is made from the roots of the cassava plant. It is hydrophilic, which means when it comes into contact with water. It is a useful ingredient because it absorbs high levels of fragrance, dispersing it into water as it dissolves without leaving any residue or film. It also provides a soft feel to water.

Sodium Bicarbonate is a multipurpose chemical compound that is alkaline and water-soluble, helping to soften hard water. The careful balance of this ingredient alongside citric acid is how we achieve our renowned skin-harmonious pH. 
 
Citric Acid is a naturally occurring fruit acid. Commercially, it is made in the laboratory because demand far exceeds the supply of citrus fruits. When added to water, citric acid creates fizzing, releasing the fragrance and colours of the booster. 
 
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (palm-free) is a mild and soft foaming agent which is derived from coconut. It is biodegradable and vegan-friendly. Extremely gentle, it is suitable for all skin types as it maintains moisture in the skin.
